Lead for Quality and Compliance

Shape quality, compliance and student success across a growing London partnership

The University of Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced, hands-on Lead for Quality and Compliance to provide leadership and assurance at its dedicated London partner centre.

This is a high-profile role at the point where University regulations, partner delivery and student experience meet. The successful candidate will lead key quality functions and drive the implementation of the ATLAS Strategy across Admissions, Teaching, Learning, Assessment and Student Support, ensuring academic standards are applied consistently and continue to evolve.

You will chair key portfolio meetings, including Examination Boards, Partnership Development Meetings and Academic Misconduct Panels, and provide confident grip across academic governance, risk and delivery. Working closely with colleagues across the University and partner organisation, you will help ensure that the London provision is ambitious, well run and focused on excellent student outcomes.

We are seeking someone with a relevant Master’s degree and at least three years’ experience of academic partnerships in a UK university setting. You will bring a strong track record in quality assurance, including programme development and the chairing of assessment boards, alongside the confidence to interpret complex regulations and turn them into clear, practical action. A teaching qualification or HEA Fellowship, or a willingness to gain one, would be advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity to shape a growing London-based academic partnership within a supportive University environment, contributing directly to the experience and outcomes of students. The role is hybrid, with two days per week based at our London Partner office, occasional travel to Bolton for team meetings and staff development, and some national and international travel as required.
